good afternoon,
a good friend of mine has recently started a project called v&z.
a sydney based producer, valency has honed his craft creating wobbly, destructive dubstep, and has now moved on to more grindy, thrashy electro.
he has teamed up with zuology to form v&z. i have for you a preview of a couple of tracks from this up and coming force.
v&z – out of order
this track begins with some nice scratching, before leading into driving chopped up electro. this track reminds me of a similar structure as autoerotique and dj am’s track ‘gladiator’, which steve aoki graced us with a remix of not too long ago.
v&z – sore throat
this track commences with a nice funky beat. the melody is then chopped up, leading into a nice buildup. it then drops into heavy, driving electro. the production quality of these guys is commendable, the tracks manage to sound clear, yet thrashy.
